Ting ZHU was born in Henan in the 29th November 1994 and started her volleyball career also in Henan in 2008. She played in 2013 for Guangdong Evergrande and achieved in 2013 FIVB World Club Championship a bronze medal. After a short journey in Evergrande Zhu head back to Henan Huawei and played here until 2016 season and moved to VakıfBank for 2016-2017 season and won CEV Champions League first place. 
Zhu especially showed a great performance in Chinese National Team and achieved memorial success. Her first outcome was in 2012; after joining National Tema Squad Zhu, won Gold Medal in 2015 FIVB World Cup and 2016 Rio Olympic Games. She graduated from Sports Institute - Zhengzhou University.
