Kobe will host for the first time in Japan's volleyball history the Women's Club World Championships tournament.

Well-known for its signature beef as well as for the settings of mountains around its harbour, it is also famous for the hot springs of Arima Onsen.

Kobe Green Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Kobe, Japan. The capacity of the arena is 6,000 people. It hosted some of the group games for the FIVB World Grand Prix 2008.
