Yanagita guides NEC Red Rockets in win over rivals Hisamitsu Springs

 

The smallest girl in the NEC Red Rockets frontline - Mizuki Yanagita - played a big game against their rivals Hisamitsu Springs

Kobe, Japan, May 14, 2017 – Mizuki Yanagita led the charge, as NEC Red Rockets made short work of their league rivals Hisamitsu Springs 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-22) to finish in seventh place in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Club World Championship Kobe 2017 at Green Arena Kobe on Sunday.


Yanagita had a solid scoring stint from the attack line with 14 kills to lead the Kawasaki-based club. Sarina Koga, Akari Oumi and Haruyo Shimmamura had double-digit outputs of 13, 12 and 11 points, respectively.
