Gizem Örge, born in April 26 1993, Ankara, started to play volleyball at Ankara Eczacı (formerly Batıkent Kültür) at age 12. When she was 15 years old, Gizem moved to Bursa to play for Nilüfer Belediyesi as a libero. Same year, she was chosen for the Turkish Youth National Team.
In despite of Örge transferred to VakıfBank in 2012, she continued to play for Nilüfer Belediyesi as a loaned player. Following year Gizem joined to VakıfBank and became the first libero of the team after 2 season.
With Turkish youth and junior teams, Örge won gold medals at Youth Olympic Games and Balkan Championship and silver medal at 2015 U23 World Championship. As a Turkish Senior National Team member, Gizem Örge won gold medal at 2014 European League. She won CEV Champions League with Vakifbank at 2017.
